Dipl.-Ing. Samad Monadjem founded Monadjem GmbH with a singular vision: to bring the finest hand-knotted Persian rugs directly from the weaving centers of Iran to collectors in Europe. With an engineer's eye for precision and a connoisseur's love of beauty, he began a journey that would span continents.
Throughout the decades, Samad traveled extensively across Iran, visiting the grand workshops of Isfahan and Tabriz as well as the nomadic camps of the Qashqai, forging lasting bonds with master weavers and artisan families and securing access to rugs of exceptional quality that few Western dealers could obtain.
