Ghotblouie Rugs

Ghotblouie rugs are tribal weavings from the Zagros mountain region of southern Iran, connected to the wider Fars province tribal tradition. These pieces carry the characteristic tribal energy of south Iranian weaving: bold geometry, handspun mountain wool, saturated color, and the kind of individual expression that comes from weavers creating outside of any formal workshop system.

Each Ghotblouie rug is a direct expression of the tribe's visual culture, an honest, characterful piece with the warmth and durability of high-altitude mountain wool.
