Statutory Right of Withdrawal (14 Days)
As a consumer, you have the statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within fourteen days without giving reasons. The full withdrawal policy including the model withdrawal form can be found in our Terms and Conditions (Section 5).
Within the statutory withdrawal period, we will refund all payments including standard delivery costs. Returns are free when using our return service.
30-Day Voluntary Return Policy
In addition, we offer a voluntary 30-day return policy from the date of receipt. The period begins at the end of the statutory 14-day withdrawal period.
The rug must be returned in its original condition, clean, undamaged, and in the original packaging or equivalent packaging.
Your statutory right of withdrawal remains unaffected and fully in force.
How to Return
1. Contact us by email at info@rugsociete.com or by phone at +49 40 330764 with your order number.
2. You will receive your return information and return label by email.
3. Pack the rug carefully in the original packaging or equivalent packaging.
4. Ship the item back using the provided label.
5. After receipt and inspection, the refund will be issued to the original payment method.
Return Shipping Costs
Returns via our return service are free within the EU—both within the statutory withdrawal period and the voluntary return policy.
For orders shipped to Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and Norway, return shipping costs are borne by the customer.
If you return the item yourself by other means, you bear the shipping costs.
Refund
The refund will be processed promptly, no later than fourteen days after receipt of the return, to the same payment method you used for the original order.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your rug arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately with photos of the damage. We will cover return shipping costs in this case and offer you a replacement or full refund.
Exchanges
Since our rugs are unique, exchanges are handled as a return followed by a new purchase. Once your return is processed, you can purchase another piece from our collection.
