Kalathe Rugs

Kalathe is a village in the Khorasan weaving region of northeastern Iran. The name "kalathe" itself means "village" or "hamlet" in Persian—and these are precisely that: unpretentious village-workshop rugs that embody the direct, honest craft tradition of the Khorasan countryside.
