Soulful Geometry from the Borderlands
Baluch rugs are tribal weavings from the borderlands of southeastern Iran and neighboring regions, celebrated for their soulful geometry and earthy, saturated color. Deep reds and indigo blues are especially common, and prayer-rug layouts (mihrab forms) appear frequently in classic pieces.
Bold, angular patterns passed down through generations combine with the rich texture of hand-spun wool. Many Baluch pieces feature the distinctive mihrab (prayer niche) design.
They bring a grounded, nomadic authenticity that feels both graphic and timeless, every piece genuinely hand-knotted, grounding any space with warmth.
